One system for how a service business actually runs: the work, the people, the calendar, the procedures and the money. Built by Spontom, and in development now.
We kept rebuilding the same operations layer for clients.
Service businesses run on the same handful of things — who is doing what, when it is due, what the procedure is, what it cost. Most run them across a spreadsheet, a chat thread and two SaaS tools that disagree. We had built that layer enough times to know the shape of it, so we started building it properly.
Tenant number one
Spontom runs on Orbit.
Orbit is not a side project we demo. It is the panel our own team opens every morning — Spontom is the first organisation in it, which means every rough edge reaches us before it reaches anyone else. The same build serves any other organisation, because nothing in it is specific to us.

Recorded against the business, with approval as a server-side transition rather than a UI toggle.

Mobile companion
Today, tasks, calendar, SOPs and approvals on a phone, against the same data.

Multi-tenant from the first migration
Every table is organisation-scoped with row-level security, because retrofitting tenancy is how platforms die.
